JEP Foundation provides consulting and assessment services to help corporations improve their JEP Maturity Level to gain public recognition and broaden market share.

What We Do

JEP Foundation is not an industry watchdog or think-tank. It is a for-profit consultancy that adheres to its own principles. Our industry best practices allow corporations to understand where on the scale of Humanistic Capitalism they are and help them, if it is their desire, to advance one or more JEP Maturity Levels. JEP Foundation gives companies a holistic framework within which to operate—each company chooses where they want to be and why, and the maturity scale provides the level to which they can ascribe.

Companies have a social responsibility, not just a “for-profit” motive.

Strategic Planning
We help companies and executives plan for the adoption of Humanistic Capitalism and JEP principles.

Formal Appraisals

• JEP Foundation provides formal appraisals to organizations who want to be certified at a JEP Maturity Level. At the end of the appraisal, a rating is assigned and the company is authorized to display their JEP Rating in marketing collateral and on their website to notify the public and their customers that they adhere to Humanistic Capitalism principles at that level of maturity.
• The appraisal is based on four dimensions: Products & Services, Finance & Accounting, Environmental Stewardship, and Community Service.
  Products & Services: A product or service must be uplifting to the human spirit and fulfill a basic need.
  Finance & Accounting: The financial aspect of the appraisal looks at two components: 1) how the company makes its money (is it predatory, humanistic, or somewhere in between?), and 2) how does the company distribute its profit (is it hoarded, or freely shared?).
  Environmental Stewardship: A company’s level of environmental stewardship reflects how well they utilize material resources and minimize their impact on the environment.
  Community Service: Community service can be demonstrated at four levels: local, regional, national, and international.

JEP Foundation speaks on the principles of Humanistic Capitalism and Just Enough Profit to small or large groups. Courses, classes, workshops, and seminars may be custom-tailored to meet the needs of your organization.

Revenue Model

Our tiered, flat-rate fees are based on the previous year’s annual revenue of the company to be assessed. The larger the organization and the more lines of business, the more details are studied and the more time and effort the appraisal requires.
